Costa Rica waterfall- Cascada El Pavon- aka Cascada El Pavón
We take a trio to one of the coolest waterfalls in Costa Rica, Cascada El Pavón aka the Ojochal waterfall by some. It is a short drive from Uvita and the scenic dirt road leading to this amazing waterfall is a fun drive, We cross over a narrow one lane bridge to navigate to the parking area for the falls. A short hike down a beautiful trail and we are at the falls. A set of easy stairs leads us down to the base of the falls and it is very easy to get in and start swimming. The notable feature of the single round rock at the top of the falls is Cascada El Pavón’s signature feature and a wonder to behold. We also take a look at the view from the top of the falls, a unique angle and interesting perspective with the swimmers below.
