Uvita Costa Rica Walking Tour centro 2024

The Uvita Waterfall 2024 aka Catarata Uvita aka Cascada Verde in Uvita is a popular tourist destination. On this trip we go to the first entrance, that features the butterfly Garden. Both the trails and the Blue Morpho Butterfly garden are in the process of being upgraded with the work expected to be complete by December 2024, but the garden is looking beautiful and I had some very nice encounters with some curious Blue Morphs Butterlies.. The trail to the falls is much improved and easy going as you will see in the video.
They have delcious smoothies available at the entrance and the full restaurant is expected to be back up and running by December 2024, just in time for the busy season.

People ask me which entrance is best and I say both have their merits.

If you want to see butterflies and also go to the falls, flat trails through beautful bosquego to the first entrance.

If you want to have a full-service restaurant, zip line adventure and visit the falls, go the the second entrance. Keep in mind that the first entrance plans to have their reptant open by the end of 2024

The entrance fee is $4 or 2Mil per person at either entrance. They are separately operated businesses.
