Rainy Season Costa Rica is my favorite time of year. The river is getting back to normal after being dry for months and the vegetation is getting greener. There is always more of a chance of rain during the green season, but it does not usually rain all day and some days it does not rain at all. With fewer tourist crowds and a greener world, the seasoned traveler knows not to overlook the green season, it is one of the best times to visit.
