Everything you have been told online about living in Costa Rica is wrong. The reason why this is true is because most people talking about Costa Rica try to make great generalizations related to their specific experiences in their own specific area of Costa Rica.

Always remember the story of the three blind men and the elephant. Each man defines the elephant differently because their beliefs are based on their direct experience, one man says it is a wall, the other a fan and still another a spear. Costa Rica is very much like this, it is a country of micro cultures and life in each area varies greatly. If we try to paint all of Costa Rica with the same broad brush, it will obviously not be accurate.

This is a fun day trip in Uvita Costa Rica and a great way to get to know the southern zone of Costa Rica!
